The farm is 42 hectares in size and consists of 21 hectares of vineyards, 4½ hectares of olives and a 400t cellar. The cellar produces hand crafted premium red and white wines for export. The 4-star Guesthouse is consists eighteen luxurious suites each with a balcony and stunning views of the vineyards/garden and the Hawekwa Mountains. Consisting of only three spacious suites each with its own plunge pool and private patio with built in fire place, guests can unwind in their own space overlooking the majestic wine lands and mountains. With expansive views of the vineyards and mountains, The Grillroom is a bespoke steakhouse specializing in grain and grass fed aged meats as well as a wide variety of seafood and poultry option. Pizza Vista is based in the farm’s historic cellar with enormous outside area and splash pad, offering the winning recipe of Piza e Vino for young and the young at heart.

Evergreen Manor & Spa offers luxury guest house accommodation in the heart of Stellenbosch in Western Cape, South Africa. This beautiful and scenic accommodation is perfectly situated among mountains and vineyards allowing for visitors to feel right at home and get the rest that they need. This Country House style guest house is 4 minutes away from Stellenbosch town centre, a location which boasts numerous fine dining restaurants, art galleries and historical buildings for your sightseeing pleasure. Golfers are more than welcome to visit any of the 10 top-class golf courses in the area with 3 of them situated right in Stellenbosch.

Useful Info

  • What To Pack

    As a guide, the maximum weight for checked luggage is 20kg in economy class and 30kg in business class. Your hand-luggage should not weigh more than 6kg and needs to be small and compact.

    Take along your best safari and casual wear, perfect for the day. A light rain jacket might come in handy in the event of the occasional rain shower. Sunglasses and suntan lotion are a must. Flip flops, sun hat and a safari bag. If you’re planning on partaking in any walking safaris, be sure to pack a pair of comfy walking shoes, and lots of sun-cream!

  • Take Your Own

    Don’t forget any medication that you might need, and be sure to pack it in your hand luggage.

    Chargers for all your devices (it’s a good idea to take along a few movies on a tablet or something similar as the English TV channels in your hotel may be limited).

    Take along your own pair of binoculars and a good camera (with lenses, extra batteries and memory cards) to capture those special wildlife safari moments!

    Mosquito repellent and a small personal medical kit are also a must.

  • Travel Tips

    Pack a change of clothing in your hand luggage in case of baggage delays (and a spare change of cooler clothes so at least you can change into fresh kit when you get to your final destination). No sharp objects are permitted in your hand luggage (yes, tweezers are sharp!).

    Travel insurance is a must. If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford to travel! Travelling with kids – please check that you have all the relevant documents including unabridged Birth Certificates.

    It’s often a good idea to let your bank or credit card company know that you’re going overseas.
