Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa
HOTEL OVERVIEW
Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is one of the most prestigious resorts in Mauritius. Located on a stunning peninsula, Paradis Beachcomber is renowned worldwide for its high-profile facilities and services and first-class accommodation. Le Morne peninsula's shoreline stretches for seven kilometres and features one of the best beaches on the island. A unique wow factor includes 13 uber-luxurious villas built along a private beach where guests have the option of an 'own home' seaside holiday.
Island-style, rustic thatch accents the public areas, which are extremely close to the beach, and add authenticity to the tropical atmosphere. The resort has four fine restaurants – two of which were redesigned in 2023 and boast brand new décor, concepts and menus – and shares a further four with its neighbour, Dinarobin Beachcomber. Recognised internationally by those in the know as a premier golf resort, its picturesque 18-hole course has attracted players of varying skills and guests from all over the globe since we opened its doors.
Rooms and suites are opulently and elegantly decorated in calming colours and the finest fabrics. The architectural emphasis of Paradis Beachcomber is on light and space, lending an exceptionally tranquil feel and appearance to all options of accommodation. Various suite categories were refurbished in 2023. The Junior Suites and Beachfront Junior Suites boast refurbished soft furnishings and brand new lighting whereas flagship category, the Beachfront Senior Suites, have enjoyed a complete redesign and together with their unbeatable seafront location, this suite category continues to be one of the most sought after on the island.
Adjacent to Paradis Beachcomber are twelve super luxury Paradis Villas and one Presidential Villa. The entrance to each villa is from a golf course approach and the living areas face out onto a dramatic seascape.
Modern kitchens are available for the preparation of meals. Alternatively, meals may be ordered from the resort's restaurants or guests may wish to dine at any of the eight top-class venues on the property. At an additional charge, guests may have a meal prepared in their villa by a chef at lunchtime or in the evening.
The Golf Clubhouse and the first tee are a short distance from the villas. Water sports are operated from the boathouse at Paradis Beachcomber. Each villa is provided with a golf cart.

What To Pack
As a guide, the maximum weight for checked luggage is 20kg in economy class and 30kg in business class. Your hand-luggage should not weigh more than 6kg and needs to be small and compact.
Take along your best beach and casual wear, perfect for the day. A light rain jacket might come in handy in the event of the occasional rain shower. Sunglasses and suntan lotion are a must. Flip flops, sun hat and a beach bag. If you’re planning on adventuring around the island (there’s so much more to see and do outside of your hotel!) be sure to pack a pair of comfy walking shoes, and lots of suncream!
-
Take Your Own
Don’t forget any medication that you might need, and be sure to pack it in your hand luggage.
Chargers for all your devices (it’s a good idea to take along a few movies on a tablet or something similar as the English TV channels in your hotel may be limited).
Take along your own goggles & snorkels – even though your resort will have this equipment available free of charge or to hire, you’ll probably be happier having your own.
Mosquito repellent. An underwater camera is a great idea.

Travel Tips
Pack a change of clothing in your hand luggage in case of baggage delays (and a spare cozzie so at least you can have a swim when you get to your resort). No sharp objects are permitted in your hand luggage (yes, tweezers are sharp!). Put electronics, medication, toothbrushes and jewellery in your carry-on bag.
Travel insurance is a must. If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford to travel! Travelling with kids – please check that you have all the relevant documents including unabridged Birth Certificates.
It’s often a good idea to let your bank or credit card company know that you’re going overseas.
